Best School Picnic Venue in Gurgaon
A school picnic is supposed to give students a break from classrooms and routine lessons. For teachers and school coordinators, though, the planning starts well before the students reach the venue.
There is transport to arrange, student groups to manage, activities to select, food to plan and safety to keep in mind. The venue also needs enough space for a large group without making the day feel like another school activity.
An indoor activity venue can be a good choice for schools in Gurgaon. It gives students a chance to play, take part in group activities and spend time with classmates while teachers can keep the outing organised.
Boombastic in Sector 62, Gurugram offers an indoor setting for school picnics, student outings and group activities.
Why Take Students Out of the Classroom?
Students spend a large part of their week inside classrooms.
A school picnic gives them a different setting. They can play with classmates, take part in activities and interact with students they may not meet much during normal lessons.
There is also a social side to an outing. Children learn to work in groups, follow instructions and take turns while taking part in games and activities.
It does not have to become a lesson outside the classroom.
The break itself has value.
What Activities Can Students Take Part In?
The activities need to match the age of the students.
Younger children may enjoy soft play and simple indoor attractions. Older students may prefer bowling, trampolines, arcade games, wall climbing or adventure activities.
A venue with different activity options can help schools avoid putting every student into the same activity.
Depending on the current arrangements, Boombastic has activity options such as:
- Bowling
• Trampoline activities
• Wall climbing
• Adventure activities
• Arcade games
• Soft play
• Other indoor attractions
Schools can discuss the age groups, student count and preferred activities with the venue before planning the visit.
Can One Venue Work for Different Classes?
School groups are rarely made up of children from one age.
A picnic may include students from several sections or classes. A class of six-year-olds will need a different activity setup from students in their early teens.
This is where having different activity areas can help.
The school can divide students into smaller groups based on age or activity preference. One group can take part in an activity while another group uses a different area.
The exact arrangement depends on the venue, group size and available slots, so this should be discussed before the visit.
